We are currently looking for a Chief, Project Manager Office (PMO).

Position Summary:


As a Chief Project Manager Office (PMO), you will be responsible for the Project Manager (PM) team within the company. At this level, you will work closely with the management team and the executive team to establish the company's strategic directions and ensure its growth.

As for the Project Office, you will be responsible for implementing and improving project management processes and methods within the company. You will work closely with internal teams, providing leadership and execution capabilities to ensure that your unit is able to deliver and maintain the full benefits of project management standards, methodologies and best practices.

You will be responsible for the coaching and application of these methods by the Project Managers (PM) members of your team to ensure the smooth running of contracts and also customer satisfaction. You will be relied upon to bring your enlightened leadership, experience and expertise to your team.

As a manager, you will be an essential leader in the planning, programming and coordination of technology projects. You will also be required to lead certain technology projects yourself when necessary.



Your main responsibilities are:

  • Provide strong leadership, project management expertise and advice, coaching, support and supervision of the project team;
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure good communication and create real partnerships (customers, colleagues, management, suppliers, etc.);
  • Participate in project meetings to provide advice and guidance to project management implementation teams and ensure that an appropriate strategic direction is set for each project plan;
  • Interacts with project delivery teams to develop detailed plans, schedules and budgets to ensure the best possible quality of results in accordance with project requirements;
  • Ensures that reports are prepared during the course of the project for the benefit of clients and for management, presenting the status of projects (progress, schedules, costs, risks and changes);
  • Resolve problems in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that project milestones are met, that clients are satisfied and that corporate objectives are met;
  • Identify the needs for training, performance monitoring, coaching and employee motivation;
  • Participate in the hiring process and human resources management in collaboration with the human resources team.


Our requirements:


  • Graduate degree, preferably in project management, engineering or business administration;
  • PMP certification or other relevant training in project management is an asset.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management in technology;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead work teams on projects (leadership);
  • Experience in managing, training, cultivating and motivating the talent of project managers in a growing environment;
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to communicate effectively (customers, colleagues, suppliers, etc.);
  • Bilingual - Excellent written and verbal communication skills (French, English essential;
  • Demonstrate a good level of professionalism, commitment and an ability to adapt to a variety of environments;
  • Experience with the Agile method, Atlassian suite tools (Jira, Confluence) and project management software (MS Projects, Primavera or others) are assets;
